Robby Clater received his first New York nomination for the Innovative Theatre Award for his Off-Broadway debut in the play Connected. As a professional actor, his work includes Dreamgirls at The MUNY with Jennifer Holiday and Christopher Jackson, Emmitt in Legally Blonde for Carolina Broadway Theatre Company and a National Tour with Lightwire Theatre. He has originated several roles in workshops including The Stephen Schwartz Project (Robby) learning from Stephen Schwartz himself, and First Kids (Charles Francis Adams) with Tony Winners Paul Kreppel and Murphy Cross. Recently, Robby lent his singing talents to the concept CD of the new show, The Time of Nick composed by Tor Ingar Jakobsen with Lyrics by Abraham Tetenbaum.
He was also part of the winning team of FAKE-OFF on Tru TV. Robby has been on national and international tour with Lightwire Theatre
